Artemisia

Artemisia annua

Description

A. annua was traditionally used in ancient Chinese medicine as a fever reducer, more recently it has been studied for anti-malarial and anti-cancer treatments. Our lab developed a liquid chromatography−mass spectrometry (LC-MS) method with selected ion monitoring (SIM) and validated it for the analysis and standardization of artemisinin in Artemisia annua.
